Unclogging Your Pump: A Quick Fix

If the pump becomes clogged, flush it with hot water and vinegar as follows:

Step 1: Flush with Hot Water

• Remove pump and place the hose in a small bowl of hot water

• Pump 5–10 times until the water runs clear

• Pump remaining water out

Step 2: Flush with Vinegar

• Place the hose in a bowl of vinegar

• Pump 10–15 times until it flows smoothly

• Finish with one more flush using hot water

Your pump should now be good as new and ready to use again!
